WELCOME TO DOWN UNDER WINES & BISTRO!

Down Under Wines & Bistro is Gilbert, Arizona's premier wine bar.  We feature the finest in Australian wine, offering an Australian perspective on wine and food.  We invite you to experience the Australian flair for creating wine, which is among the best produced in the world today.  Australia has a long-standing reputation for high quality wine at affordable prices.  We also feature eclectic and hard-to-find wines from New Zealand, South Africa, Italy, Spain, and the Unites States.  Browse our boutique wine.  There are certainly no supermarket wines here, mate.  Come in, and try before you buy; we even give away free wine samples to our customers.  Drink a bottle of wine on premise at retail cost.  ($10.00 corkage fee applies)  Have a drink, mate.  We also serve draught and bottle beer, featuring Coopers Beer, a handmade, perservative-free beer, much loved by Australian winemakers.  This is the only Australian beer currently available in Arizona.  And we also serve lunch and dinner, Aussie/Asian fusion-style, featuring alligator potstickers, kangaroo salad, Aussie Kobe beef dogs, cheese plates, and a delicious light chocolate plate, served with dessert wine and port.
 

DOWN UNDER HAS A NEW LOCATION!!

Come visit us Mates, in our bigger, better, new location in the Islands Shopping Center, 1422 W. Warner Road (NE Corner of Warner & McQueen), Gilbert AZ, 85233.  We have a full kitchen now with an expanded menu including steaks, lamb chops and seafood entrees, in addition to our famous exotic and delicious "small plates". This month we are introducing "Dick's Smoked Meats" including a selection of delicious smoked ribs and other specialties cooked on the premises. In addition, you can build your own artisan cheese plate from our new wide selection of gourmet cheeses from around the world. Sit on our large, cozy, fire lit patio and enjoy unique and delicious food and wine. Refer to our weekly newsletters for weekly specials, events and live entertainment.

Reservations are required.  Then join us for live music on the patio from 1 PM - 3 PM.
 

FEBRUARY EVENTS

February 7 - Superbowl Sunday Brunch and festivities.
February 13 - Valentine's Day Champagne and Chocolate Tasting, from 5 PM - 10 PM - $25 per person plus tax and gratuity.
February 14 - Valentine's Day Champagne and Chocolate Tasting all day and evening. Valentine's Day Dinner - 4 wines paired with 4 courses - $65 per person plus tax and gratuity.  Reservations needed
February 24 - PEJU Winemaker's dinner. Meet Sara Fowler from PEJU winery and taste 5 of their wines paired with 5 courses - $55 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations needed.  Limited seating.  Please see the flyer below.
